Is a Cinematographer from the Himalayan town of Darjeeling based in Mumbai, whose work fuses emotional precision with evocative compositions. What began with still photography soon evolved into a deep commitment to the art of cinematography. He immersed himself in the craft starting his career in the camera department, he climbed the ranks from an assistant to director of photography. His pursuit of visual storytelling led him to become part of the ASC Vision Mentorship Program, where he continued to evolve his artistic voice. He brings a cinematic sensibility to every project, working closely with directors to craft visual narratives that resonate with depth, authenticity and style. With a keen eye for detail and an instinct for emotion, Vashistha approaches every story as a visual symphony with a refined, purposeful vision, layered, and driven by emotion.
